Cable operators are going through a major transformation from different angles

– Access network transformation to meet the exponential demand growth (from investment and organizational viewpoints)

– Deploy 10 G capable networks to deter competition, and

– Develop revenue-generating verticals (such as healthcare as discussed here) to counter losing triple play revenue
