Rajesh has over 20 years of experience in the telecom and networking industry, covering strategy consulting, product management, system architecture, and software development roles. In his current strategy consulting role at DTS, Rajesh is leveraging his strong technology and business background to help major MSO operators evaluate and introduce innovative technical solutions that also make business sense. Prior to DTS, in product management and systems engineering roles at Alcatel-Lucent, Rajesh helped develop industry-leading products in the DSL and FTTx space, and subsequently helped deploy and support them at many major telco operators around the world. Rajesh also led international standards development initiatives at the DSL Forum (now Broadband Forum) and IETF. Rajesh began his career in the test and measurement industry, where he helped develop numerous successful network monitoring and testing products in systems engineering and software development roles.
Rajesh earned a master’s degree in computer engineering from North Carolina State University and an MSc in physics and BE in electrical and electronics engineering from BITS Pilani, India. He lives in Cary, North Carolina, with his wife and two children, and loves to read and chase balls on the tennis court when he gets a chance.
